Yamê COLORS Performance
Watching Yamê's COLORS performance of Bécane was honestly mind-blowing. 🤯
His breath control? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. And the way he feels every single word he sings... you can actually feel what he's feeling. That kind of performance goes beyond just having a good voice. There's emotion, control, vulnerability, artistry — everything.
And then I went to the comments. 😭
Most people were using the opportunity to make fun of his teeth, and honestly? His teeth were the least interesting thing about that performance to me. 😂
I was too busy watching someone who is exceptionally talented do what he does exceptionally well.
And it really made me think about how, no matter how good you are, there will always be people who look for something to criticize. Your teeth. Your appearance. Your body. Your voice. Whatever they can find. Some people will always look for the one thing they can use to pull you down, even when there is so much more worth seeing.
Anyway. 😭
After that performance, I got dragged down the Yamê rabbit hole and ended up watching Call of Valhalla live too.
Mind. Blown. AGAIN.
His live voice sounds so much like the recordings, which is honestly rare. The control, the tone, the emotion — everything is still there.
What a beautiful performer. 😩😮💨
And now I'm just sitting here wondering how I've gone this long without knowing about this man. 😭🇫🇷
