About Pattern and Perspective
A space for perspectives, stories, ideas and the people behind them.
Every day, we move through a world full of patterns.
The way children understand the world. The way teenagers begin to find their voices. The way parents navigate relationships, responsibility and uncertainty. The way people make decisions, respond to trends and interact with businesses. The way our experiences shape who we become. And the way we express ourselves through the things we create, wear, read and believe.
Pattern and Perspective was created to explore those patterns — and the perspectives behind them.
It is a growing creative and educational publication built around curiosity, self-expression, learning and the many ways we experience everyday life.
There isn't one way to understand the world. And there isn't one kind of person who belongs here.

Deep Dives
Some questions deserve more than a quick answer. Deep Dives explores topics across technology, marketing, society and the world around us — looking beyond the obvious to examine the patterns, evidence and perspectives underneath.
Explore →Little Perspectives
Children are constantly learning how to understand themselves, other people and the world around them. Little Perspectives gives them stories and resources that meet them where they are.
Explore →Teen Perspectives
Being a teenager can mean trying to understand who you are while everyone seems to have an opinion about who you should become. Teen Perspectives creates space for those questions.
Explore →Parent Perspectives
Parenthood comes with questions that rarely have simple answers. This is a library of perspectives, research and resources for people trying to figure out one of life's most complicated roles.
Explore →Doodles
Not everything needs to become an article. Doodles is the more playful, imperfect and spontaneous side of Pattern and Perspective — illustrations, visual ideas and creative experiments.
Explore →My Stories & Books
Some stories are easier to understand when you allow yourself to tell them. Through books and autofiction, this is a space for experiences, emotions and the questions that stay with us.

Pattern and Perspective is also where I put what I've learned into practice — marketing, research, data, content and digital tools, turned into practical help for individuals, creators and businesses.
Explore →Why Pattern and Perspective?
Because life rarely fits neatly into one category.
We can be analytical and creative. We can be parents and professionals. We can be students and teachers. We can be curious about data and fascinated by stories. We can question the world while still enjoying a good doodle. We can learn from research while recognising the value of lived experience.
Pattern and Perspective makes room for all of that. It is a place where data can meet everyday life, where children and teenagers can have their own perspectives, where parents can find thoughtful resources, where stories can explore human experiences, where creativity can exist without explanation, and where skills can become practical services.
At the centre of it all is one simple idea:
There is usually more than one way to look at something.
And sometimes, changing the perspective changes what you see.
My Goal Is Simple
To create spaces where people can explore the patterns, stories and perspectives that shape how we understand ourselves and the world.
A Note From the Founder
I've lived through different stages of this human experience.
I've had questions.
I've made mistakes.
I've needed things I didn't always receive.
I've learned things later than I wish I had.
I've changed my mind.
I've created things simply because I needed somewhere for the idea to go.
Pattern and Perspective grew from those experiences.
I wanted to create some of the spaces I wished existed when I was a child, a teenager and now, as a parent. A place where children could see themselves in stories. A place where teenagers could explore difficult questions without being told they were too young to have them. A place where parents could find perspectives without being made to feel like they were failing. A place where curiosity was encouraged. A place where creativity didn't need to justify itself. And a place where I could continue learning, creating and making sense of the world too.
Pattern and Perspective is my way of making room for those things.
I'm still learning. I'm still creating. I'm still figuring out where all of this will lead. And perhaps that's part of the point. We don't have to have everything figured out before we begin.
Welcome to Pattern and Perspective.
